The Importance of Spending Time Alone✨

Many of us will go through several transformations throughout our unique journeys of Life and Self. At some point during our young adulthood or as older adults we might find ourselves seeking belongingness as a need to be accepted by a group or groups. I suppose this is part of the human nature in a social sense. I think the important thing to realize is that happiness, joy, peace and real love dwells within YOU! Single, married, divorced....an only child or a sibling to many.... introvert or extrovert....; Whatever way you relate to society I want you to know that there is a certain level of strength and power that comes from BEING alone. But before delving in too deep I am being guided to bring awareness to the difference between being alone and being lonely!
Feeling lonely is the result of a lack due to being emotionally dependent on the presence of others. An individual might experience unhealthy emotions such as prolonged sadness, depression, fear, anxiety etc... Further, a dependency on others such as this is a sign of a negative attachment to others which could inhibit one's ability to find fulfillment and/or self-management in their own life! Please notice that I said prolonged which means a condition lasting for too long or at an abnormal level.
Being alone or spending time in SOLITUDE is healthy when one is content and/or enjoys just BEING alone away from others. You may hear people refer to such moments as "ME TIME" or being in "HERMIT MODE". Some may use the expression, "NEED TO GET AWAY". All of these are healthy expressions that indicate an individual's awareness that there is a mental or psychological desire to spend time alone to regain BALANCE in one or more areas of their life....CAREER, FAMILY, SOCIAL, and/or HEALTH (mentally/physically). This is especially true for those of us who experience toxicity 😝within the environments or from the people we exchange energy with, in these stated areas of our lives.
Remember....Spending Time Alone in Solitude is a form of SELF-CARE and necessary for:
RESTORATION of your energy
HEALING mentally and physically (MIND, BODY, SPIRIT)
RE-ALIGNING with self (GROUNDING)
PROTECTION from toxic social environments, behavioral energies of others, even ways of
the world 🌍🌎🌏.
THERE IS POWER💪🏾💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏿IN BEING ALONE!!!!! You should not feel GUILTY or REGRETFUL for doing so.
